I figured if Stacy David can have a "what are you working on" so can RDP.

I'm working on a 49 Buick Dynaflow today. Cracked exhaust manifold and 2 broken bolts, hopefully no more, I had the owner spray the bolts with PB Blaster for the last 3 days with the engine cold and warm a couple times a day.

What ecm/ecu setup are you running on that? I've only done boring and basic swaps, but next one coming down the road is a bit more serious...don't think I want to use a stock brain in something getting a tube chassis and some sort of forced induction.

Once my DIY home remodel is complete in the next couple months, this arrow straight frame will become the foundation of the new Boat Bling shop truck. '72 C10 with 6.0 LS & 6 speed.

The rest of the studs came out without any problems, a little planning with the penetrating oil with the engine warm and cold worked wonders. The broken stud in the back is actually an alignment dowel for the gaskets so that leaves the front stud as the only one that is broken. The exhaust manifold is cracked and the owner is going to see if he can have the manifold welded, if it can't be welded the he is going to overnight a new one.

Replacing all the scratched plastics and putting this up for sale after Presidents Day. Moving up to the Turbo S.

He should really have a torque plate on that before it's welded and stress releive it after it's done. Don't ask how I know.

I have a bunch of projects going on. Heading to Miami next week for the boat show. I am building a personal version of a boat / ski rack system in my garage in LHC. All cool fun stuff will post picks when things come together. I have been riding my snowboard quite a bit this winter to pass time.

I have a 70 el camino I want to get rid of now that I got the wagon.
Yep, the wagons are the next trend, 10 years ago nobody cared, now they are taking off like the C10s did

A guest house build. Almost done, just doing trim and moulding
A full REO rehab, two baths, kitchen, paint and flooring.
Wrapping up a major yard project, house rehab is done.
An occupied project, high end kitchen and two baths, plus 1000 feet of large format floor tile.
A mold remediation and furnace duct replacement project which now includes an earthquake retrofit.
A mysteriously flooding subarea that is making major mold issues in a house.
A spec build of a 3/2 1500 square foot house.

So not that much. LOL

New wipers, seals, and fresh oil. Oh ya, my kids got me a GPS and Ram mount for Christmas. Once this frozen white stuff is gone it will be time to explore further.

Trying to finish up our new house by March 1 or else we’ll be homeless  It’s consumed almost everyday off for the last 18+ months. I have a bunch of trim to paint and detailing left, hang light fixtures, carpet, then final inspections.
