Bought myself a new welder a couple weeks back. I had to build a cart for it. I almost went harbor freight but I figured it would be a good project to try out the new machine. Tried to win one of these machines from Finnegan’s garage @cyclone on you tube a few times but my connection speed is apparently too slow! I’ve been wanting one since they came out. I have some projects lined up for it already. Can’t wait to get some under hood time.

Thanks! I ended up with a week or so of evenings in that little dude. Didn’t keep track of hours but basically a couple hours a night for 5 days then 8 hours or so on a Saturday to finish it all and paint it, including hardware store runs. The cool part is it saved me some money over the Miller cart that looked not as heavy duty to me and kept me from using a China made junk from horrible freight. @cyclone Your channel definitely helped me decide on this machine. Thanks for the great content sir! I use Miller products at work and I have always liked the way they run vs other brand machines I have used and owned. I’m looking forward to doing some cool stuff with this thing!

HEAVY speed enforcement in NM, especially in Lordsburg..construction zone...you will get stopped for 1mph. Just an FYI have fun.
I spent a night in Lordsburg last trip out, due to unscheduled events. What a shit hole. Thanks for the heads up.

We purposely time our gas/break stops to not even stop in NM. I'll never spend a cent in that shithole state voluntarily.

If you ever jump up to havasu while I'm there drinks on me lol. Next trips are monster storm and thanksgiving.

Water well. My new property well has a static water level of 95' . I don't know the total depth of the well. I'm trying to find out how deep and how much gpm I need.

im Really digging your custom cart!! I want to fab up a pressure washer & DI filter cart to wash my cars and SXS, do you mind if I copy your design?
I have a wall mounted DI filter and figured I can just mount it ALL on a cart instead of a wall and keep my extras - hose & fittings and soap on the cart Roll it out and it’s all there.

I’ll be honest here, I just took some ideas from several carts I found on the inter web and put one together on paper. I then ordered material and got after it. There’s definitely no copy write or patent on that design! Knock yourself out! Just post pics in this thread when you finish. I am of the school of thought that making your own shop tools is way cooler than buying some China junk. I have made a lot of stuff over the years that I mostly don’t have anymore. The first shop tools I made were a set of big ass jack stands for building the front suspension on my 79 Bronco when I did a Dana 60 swap back in the day. I think those stands are holding junk boats up in my buddies yard now. I plan on building a big gantry next to get my engines in and out of my Hallett and to get the boat off the trailer so I can do some work to it.

New wheels to fix the teetering. 1" bore with a taper sleeve to hold them on. Ended up taking them off the more common way. Rare they will slide off since they rust and get seized.

Went out to the garage today and put a new impeller in the Schiada magnaflow water pump. The old one still looks ok but better to have the peace of mind knowing there is a new one in it.

Just finished up all new running gear and motor on the Ol' 55. 496 ci pulled 585hp/635tq on the dyno. Rex Hutchison Racing performed the magic with locally sourced @RaceTec pistons. Having some trouble getting the power to the ground with the skinny white walls!

my Buddy has a early Ford van with the full on luv machine vibe. blue fur and all. Pretty pimp actually.
There are a few running around Newbury Park that I see occasionally that look like full on shagonwagons! Vans seem to be making a big comeback these days and they are selling for top dollar.

That’s why I got this one. Minimal rust for a 50 year old van. The roof rails are solid.
