'33? '34?
This one is a 34. Was in a garage in South Central from 1962ish until 1984 when the guy moved to Sunland/Tujunga...and put it there until last October. The owner had past away a few years back, and his son had retired, and already had a 34 cabriolet. This one was between a bitchin 57 nomad, and a 40 convertible project. My buddy bought this one, and I hauled it out here to work on it. The Nomad was going to the other son, and the 40 was going to a friend of the late owner...I really wanted that 40!

If I answered that question honestly, I’d violate a NDA that says I can’t talk or post about anything else that I’ve looked at, at a non disclosed place,

Sorry.

Sorry, missed this until now. Yep, built flathead went in. Motor in it had leaking head gaskets, and the heads were rare hot rod ones. Pulled that and will have it fixed for another! View attachment 1077538
I have one of these in the shop now. Going back to ford power instead of the chevy that was in it.

Put a hole between my living room and kitchen to open it up and allow us to watch tv. Also put backsplash in the kitchen finally.

Looks good, now let's see a roll of dimes on some aluminum 😉🤣
I was just messing around at work. An apprentice kept giving me some real Robbie welds and said it was his machine. Quick vertical down and a quick over head to make sure it wasn’t the machine. He said I was just showing off 😂

Brother brought by his DD that he’s finally getting sorted out. Old mans desert car with 69k on it. Absolutely straight. 350 Buick with mild work, bottom to mid range pull, m20 but soon to get m22 internals for ratios, To most people a rusty old beater. A car guy would stop and go🤨. 😉

This has been on a back burner for 25 years, We got on the frame last January and just put the body back on last weekend. It's in the central valley at my Dad's shop but she is coming home in early March, much easier to work on when it's not 200 miles a way, I do love hanging with my Pop though... need to roll a couple of his projects in, he has a 54 GMC that my Uncle Don bought brand new, my 65 El Camino was his as well. The 54 has a 440 Chrysler in it, Dad put in it before he had me, early 68' I believe, needed some grunt to pull the and the camper on its back. I gotta dig up some pics.

Figuring out where to put everything in the new trailer.
Broke up and welded some boxes for a few things. I’m planning to do pull outs in most of the other cabinets. Jack will go in a pullout in a different cabinet.

Good cut on the thumb too.

Fixed/welded damaged cage tubes upper on left side, replaced front rotors, pads s/s brake lines, cleaned Weber carb, gone through wiring, installed new dash and gauges. Gone through engine checks, plugs, oil and water. Car ready for paint after the left panel fixed.
Hopefully, won't get black flagged for high dB reading at the track. We'll see, nothing a slip on muffler can't fix.:p

HOLY GRAIL trailer. No leaf springs! Torsion axle. Building myself a trailer for my dirt bike and concrete saws. I'm squeezed for garage space and too cheap to buy a 4x8 I'd modify anyways. Trailer frame is originally meant to have a 25KW generator mounted on it. I built a removable deck/upper section for it and had to rework the rear a bit. Added brakes to get a 3500lb gvwr and has a side gate. Still need to mount the water saddle tanks, lights, winch, deck, and paint. Moved the tail lights upward and put reverse lights where they were. It's pretty much a 5X7 trailer then narrows to 42".
