Out in the foothills of California (Calaveras County), this was tried last year and that bastard responded with an attempt to establish homeless encampments in the county. This naturally got the attention of many however like a squirrel moment, totally upended the recall advancement.
I‘d suggest everyone involved stay vigilant and expect pushback (naturally)

Yes I believe you can volunteer, just contact them, if you are having trouble finding a contact, there is a list of contacts when you look at any of the counties and I'm sure they can help you.

Except when the douchebag steals 1b of our $ for a couple of masks and refuses to reveal the particulars of the deal...Or defrauds the voters by I intentionally twisting the words of a tax bill to confuse the average voter into voting for millions of dollars of new gas tax and then diverting the money to pet projects instead of using it for what was intended for....Or how about taking a construction Bond and turning down the faucet send the funds are released too slow over a 10-year period to actually do any good....Or just today's news, Newsom declares budget emergency, allowing CA to take almost $8B from state reserves.
I'm sure I could think of a dozen other instances where in this case a recall would be perfectly justified.
