What all is involved in releasing a prop shaft from a casale drive ?

You need to split the coupler. After loosening the row of bolts used to clamp it tight, utilize the opposing bolt holes (2) to spread it. If necessary you can tap the safety collar which should be firmly attached to the shaft.
