Anybody have any tips for removing oil stains from a driveway? Specifically, transmission (Dextron) fluid? My 265K mile Crapalier likes to mark it's territory. Parking in the street is not an option. I'm renting and I know my landlord will say something when the lease is up. Fixing the leak isn't an option either, I'm not spending $500+ to fix a small leak on a $350 car. I've tried Googling some, but not a lot of great results. Some say to try dish soap, but I know that that won't work. I heard maybe Murphy's Oil Soap or bleach? Anyone?

Just bought a high pressure washer to remove the egg that were thrown at us on New Years. Always wanted one to do under carriages and such. I also have a driveway to clean and at $249 it was less than hiring someone. It removes all kins of grime, oil and even most of the rust from the driveway.

Go down to home depot and get a bag of concrete. Pour the concrete over the stains and cover it with plastic. Let it sit that way for a couple of weeks. The powder will pull the oil out of the slab. :thumbsup

The other option is use a roller and put a coat of oil on the whole pad:D

Soak the oil with simple green and let it sit overnight. In the morning use a pressure washer on it.

Hm, some interesting suggestions. I've tried gasoline on fresh spills, but never old spills (there's a few months worth on the driveway, I park in the same spot every night). Same goes for brake cleaner. But, I have both, so I'll give them a try. I also have access to a 3000 PSI 11 HP power washer.

They make a product called pour n restore. I buy it at the ppg dealer where I buy my auto paint...I am sure you could google up a dealer. I saw it first on horsepower tv. It works killer....If I remember right it's even tree hugger/enviro friendly. Has a nice citrus smell.lol:thumbsup;)
