I've had a "guy" for the last 15 years but he's no longer in the business. My recent attempts to buy another Ram have been, well shitty to put bluntly. So I know we have a guy for Chevy, and Cadillac etc....do we have a Ram guy? I'm in Havasu but will travel some for the right truck and deal.

FYI; Zip code and MFG rebates and incentives truly have an effect on final pricing. I use to be in the business, so I get it. I waited and in June got a 2020 RAM 1500 diesel Limited for $8,6K off of window, and a $6,500 rebate. I have seen Limited's now at 10+K off of window, for 2020's that are left. The 2021 has few nearly no changes, in 1500.

I did some research on TrueCar actually....

I live right by the largest volume dealer in Texas aka Bluebonnet...you can never beat them on a tradesman model 2500, they sell a metric shit ton of them... They gave an ok price, nothing special and didn't have really what I wanted (mega cab 1 ton, but I didn't want a Laramie or limited). They also did not want to sell it to me via my MT LLC which was a deal breaker for me. Anderson in Lake Havasu City gave a better discount (I think it was like $6k off MSRP which was right in line with what I expected and was willing to pay). It was a fluke but they had a truck come in that was almost exactly what I wanted. It was a pretty cut and dry deal.. I'd recommend them if you know what you want and they actually have one..their inventory is always thin. I think the guys name was Mitchell. I tried to buy a second one..but they were not so apt to deal and we wound up buying a Tahoe instead via Findlay in Las Vegas... Idk if Findlay has a Ram dealer but those guys were on point and it was by far the easiest vehicle transaction I've ever had. They picked me up at the casino and dropped me off at the airport when it was done. I had it picked up by someone else..and again they are well versed in LLC purchases.

Right now if you can get 10.5 to 11k off stick on a 2020 you are doing pretty good. HB dodge had pretty selection, 10 or so and discount on them was good for what i was looking for a white one. They sold about half that in a week and discount got less and i didn't get a truck lol.

this last weekend pissed me off with Swanty's in BHC. They had a truck I wanted, they had about 9k in rebates/discount, then come new years day the salesperson ghosts me. Finally gets back to me Monday....oh those rebates all expired, new price is only 4k off and oh BTW....we don't have that truck...its in transit and will be here in about 2 weeks. Never once mentioned that tidbit in all the correspondence.

Anderson is hit and miss, lack of inventory doesn't help.

Guess I'll keep poking around, but this week they definitely stripped out that year end "employee pricing" gig they were running and cut all the rebates in half or more. I'm not technically in a hurry so I thought I'd ask here again for a Ram dealer but doesn't look like we have one

I used Dave Smith in Kellogg ID for 3 trucks in 2020, 2 2500 4x Tradesmen both gas and a 5500 with a dump. Everything done over the phone and emails, I just fly in and driver them home.

When I was in the diesel performance biz, we bought all our Dodges from Dave Smith in ID. I'll be in the market for a new 3500 SRW diesel later this year when the new trans comes out, and will likely buy from them.

I talked with Dave smith a few times, they do have good deals but not much better than you can do hereon 2020's but way more selection ,hell they still have new 2019's. If you where to buy a 2021 you can get invoice according to DS with zero hassle, Should be able to get that here without a 20 hour drive in the snow but maybe not. Cousin is a GM in Boise and sales are all time high so giving discounts isn't very high on their list.

While I have not purchased a new pickup in years the last 2 I ordered at the fleet department one a Chevy and one dodge both way below MSRP and got the incentives that were available at time of delivery I also bought custom fleet colors for a few hundred more if I’m going to spend 50k plus I’m getting exactly what I want.
I have purchased 3 new Kenworth’s in the last 4 years and I spec everything down to the last switch on the dash, I won’t buy off the lot

Dave Smith quoted me for a 2021 3500 megacab below msrp, with available rebates at the time of delivery since it was 12 weeks from time of ordering to get it.

Ontario dodge basically told me to fuck off, they weren't going to do much better than msrp and wouldn't sell me a truck for the same cost as Dave Smith. While I appreciated the honesty, and not wasting each other's time, they didn't even try

Still waiting for moss to get back to me.

He sent me a picture the other day of how some guys pay 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

I believe the fuel pump on the 2019s 2020s was the problem, I think they switched back in 21 to the other syle like on our trucks. I'll ask him and see what he says.

He literally just told me yesterday, if you need a turbo actuator I can tell you how much that’s gonna cost when it goes, lol
