What color is the bottom of the red one?
The bottom of that ski is black, that is a laminated ski with the plastic on the top and bottom, never has been drilled, approx 85 in long

If you got the red one, get in touch with me to compare notes. I raced on one of these, surprised a few people. I did modify the ski some to work more like some of the newer ones.
I paid about the same for my red Maha years ago, same model Corey Cook liked. Both of us modified them to turn better.
What did you do to make them turn better?
If you bought it, look at yours next to any of the newer Mahas. The red ones had flatsides, the new ones have the sides relieved. Also note the bevels on the bottom of the skis, and even on the top of the ski behind the rear binding. I did mine on a table saw, long time ago, huge improvement for racing turns.

Yes for sure! the basic skis are close to the same and the two wood skis could be modified to todays improvements or at least close
