He couldn’t get it to run right.

Took it completely apart redid a bunch of shit for turbo and intake location. Has it back together.
Not sure if it’s running.

Guy can build some nice shit. Over promises to much.

Loves what he does and wants to do things right. It’s just not easy business wise

$1MM truck was probably a little too optimistic. Probably cut his losses and moved on

Probably head down working. He is building TRX kits now as well as Raptor stuff.
He got married and divorced during the diesel build.

He has had a rough go. I knew a couple guys on his pit team. He is a good dude just bites off more than he can chew at times.
Short course guys hated him because he had a tiny budget but kept them honest.
He built a few trucks after he stopped racing.

He's on Instagram, got a divorce and kinda hit rock bottom a couple years back and was living in a single wide i think, he made all kinds of long drawn out posts during that time, definitely was having some personal issues. He's still got the shop and is building stuff, i had a buddy that worked for him for a while.

He can definitely fabricate with the best of them, problem is he takes advice as criticism, and ends up learning the hard way. Thats a double edge sword because if you do everything the way people tell you you'll end up doing it just the same as everyone else and never push forward.

I remember lots of Diesel guys trying to give him warning that the turbo/intake system wasn't gonna work but he had to find out for himself.

I think the truck is on about it's 3rd iteration of engine setup now.

He also built and designed his own front diff and transfer case for the million dollar diesel.
As well as built a chassis for Kurt Leduc who won a championship with it.
Not bad for a tow truck driver from Pahrump.

Yessir. Family owns a towing business and he runs his shop out of the tow yard from what i gather.

He just called me the other day about a boat. He has been kicking around the idea of building a hull for awhile.
