Usually it is pricing if you are not getting any action..
Yep aware. But a friend sold the same model I am for 5k more then I am asking to some guy in Idaho.

I don’t feel I am getting the reach.

I can’t put it any cheaper or I’ll keep it.

I have a toy hauler for sale.
Mine is one of the lower priced ones across the US for year/make/model etc.

IMHO… Most people need financing for purchases at that price point. The interest rates are stopping them. There are not alot of cash buyers at the moment .

I am doing my best to be patient. Hoping it sells but its not the end of the world if it doesn’t.

Doesn’t seem like a good time to sell unless you absolutely have to. Holidays, taxes, x mas..

Pull it and hold on until T$ takes over and energy gets cheap. (In free America anyway)

Been down the same road! Rvtrader is bucks these days especially if you want to add more pictures and run it longer then 2 weeks.

Have you jumped on Offerup as well? I tend to make multiple posts on there in different zip codes so it gets exposed more. I feel most people don't adjust their default search range when looking on there.

You’re getting the reach is my guess. Like @Xring01 said I think you’re at a price point that requires financing. And you’re dealing with the “if I’m gonna borrow 40 why not 80?” Mentality.

Or it’s priced too high? I have no idea what trailers are worth.

I’ve been using offer up. If you can get through the first wave of low ballers and flippers it doesn’t seem so bad. Better than Craigslist.🍺

You just have to be honest with yourself. If you WANT to sell it price it accordingly. The days of making $$$ are over.

I just sold ours and it left Saturdays for what I owed so I didn’t have this issue trying for another 5-8k. But I want to buy something else.

I'm going to be listing my 2018 31' fifth wheel here shortly. I fully intend to list it for the "move it now" price. Mine will hopefully be in some cash buyer's price range seeing as its not a toy hauler so I'm hoping I can dump it quickly. I'm planning on here, FB marketplace and OfferUp. I might even try a consignment deal somewhere near the river to avoid dragging it back to OC and putting it my driveway.

I had my 2016 Genesis 40CR that was in excellent condition listed for $50K. I kept dropping the price and finally sold it for $37K.
The buyers paid cash for it.

I also think it’s the interest rates that are stopping people from buying toys. It’s stopping me, unless I can get 0% for 12 months, I’m not buying anything.

Ive never been so glad to get rid of something. We hadn’t used it in 2 years.

Your trailer is priced fair. But nobody is buying. Look at Str8uptoytrader thirty have came to a scratching halt. Remember how he used to post sold multiple times a day on his story. Now it never happens.

I have half assed marketed my trailer and I haven’t got 1 call. Same with the kids bikes.

Interest rates and money is not flowing.

Luckily my wife and kids want to keep our junk lol.

Everyone I’ve showed says they don’t want a bumper pull they want 5th wheel. Personally I don’t like looking on Rv trader. Fb market place has been the easiest by far.

Is this a case of my neighbors say I need a 5th wheel therefore I need a 5th wheel?

I’d think a properly loaded bumper pull would tow just fine. Plenty of pintle hitch trailers pulling heavy equipment every day.

How long ago....the market is in a decline that is for sure. I have a buddy trying to sell his diesel pusher and he went from $60k to $40k and is still not getting any action.

After having both, I’d rather have a big bumper pull. I can put it in my RV parking space with my Powercaster way easier and if anything goes wrong during hitching, I don’t destroy my truck bed, tailgate and trailer.

Keep at it Ian, it will sell. You may have to lower the price a little if you want to sell it.

People don’t know how to setup a load or hitch properly. 5th wheels are very forgiving due to pivot point placement. So people who had trailer sway with a bumper pull they think they are all like that.

My buddy has the exact trailer as the OP and tried 3 different hitch setups. I kept telling him it was partly his hitch reducer, mud terrains, lifted truck and hitch height.

He never listened and now his wife won’t go comping because she is scared and the trailer sits.

If STR8UP isn't working, it's the price. I wouldn't spend the money on RV trader myself. Unfortunately, people don't have the expendable income anymore to go on camping trips. The RV market is dead.

Try putting it on RV trader. Are you going to go bankrupt paying the advertising fee? I suspect you'll get a more serious buyer pool on RV trader. Downside is it'll probably be a buyer >1000 miles away.

Lots of YOLO buyers on that sight last few years. No price was too high. I would bet a bunch of the buyers are realizing how far under water they are.

The days of taking a loss to sell are back. No more buy high sell higher lol.

Have buddy in the rv business, everything on the lots has minimal markup on it right now. Good time to buy a new unit if you’re in the market. I think your now in direct completion with dealers if your trying to sell an RV. Either dump the price and slap it on the bass down the road of wait it out and keep using it.

It completely depends upon on the item and price.
And if you have a trade.

I could sell mine right now if I would take a downgrade trade plus cash. But then I would have to sell that as well. Sam guy can take that offer to a dealer and walk out with a new RV that day. He will pay 10k more for the new and loose his shorts on the trade.

Depends if the right now gratification is worth the dollars.

Here is a ad for very similar trailer as mine.
Mine is 2023 $54k obo which would you pick.

I believe it has to do with the type of unit as I'm following the 200k used motorhome market and shit is selling.

I think realistically for a nice piece, whatever that may be (boat, RV, Sandcar, Ect), the 50-70k mark is the top for a cash deal for an average buyer. Of course everyone has their budget but I've always stuck to that range or cheaper when I'm flipping in the toy market. Any higher and people always talk about financing. But like others have said I do feel like the toy market is flooded and nothing is selling at the moment

I have always had good luck listing on RV Trader. seem to get better qualified buyers and less lookie leu's. Sold my Toy Hauler on there last year too the 2nd guy to look and all cash. 1st guy could not fit his car inside.
