We picked up a 2018 RZR Turbo last week and Ive been thrashing to get all the farkles added before the rides we have planned for Xmas week. One of the things I wanted done asap was the cat delete. I'd seen pics of burned through mufflers and melted plastics and I wanted to get this mod done sooner than later.

From the pics you can see the discoloration and deformation caused by the rediculous heat built up between the turbo and muffler. At the time the pics were taken, here was only 1.25 hours on the muffler.

Im happy with how the cat delete turned out. The exhaust is much cooler without adding more exhaust noise.

Any performance gains? Any louder? Did you have to cut pipe leading to muffler and reweld pipe? Thx

No noticable performance gains or increased exhaust noise. The cooler exhaust temps are noticeable using my laser thermometer. I ground the oem weld off between the muffler and exhaust pipe and pulled them apart. After using an air chisel to punch out the catalytic converter I reinserted the pipe into the muffler and rewelded it back up. Still looks OEM.

We just picked up a 2016 RZR 900S EPS last week for the ranch in Alabama, and I'm going to do the same mod ASAP....
