Just read that the sanctions on Iran are impacting their ability to fight the Corona virus...

Partisan views aside, is there a chance of changing the dialog here? Letting them have free and open access to all things medical is not a security risk and does not line the Governments pockets like opening up oil would (for instance)

This could be a great chance to build a lot of good Will with average Iranians with zero risk to our security objectives.

I would say sanctions get lifted if the theocrats step aside, and they have real elections. Also, sanctions go away if we get to have 24/7 onsite US nuclear inspectors. Once we have our house in order, all of our allies and the countries who have refrained from threats towards The U.S. I guess we could ask the citizens if they need help getting rid of their dictator.
