Parts of an old poster I picked up at the 84 LA Boatshow
Nice. I like the signed copy from Harlan. Good Stuff
Those magazines were a dollar and 75 cents AND you guys used to tow your boats with VETTES? Thats badass
great pics. Yes it funny to see the vette and the El Camino as the tow rigs chosen for the brochure. Back in the day many guys towed their hydros and flattys with "brady-bunch" looking station wagons.
My dad used to tow the 21' daycruiser (Omega) with a 73' vette, 454 4 speed. I guess it wasn't so uncommon but can't imagine towing my daytona w my m coupe!

This is out of the Nov. '63 issue of Boating News Magazine.
I didn't even know that skiers war life jackets back then?
I rescanned and cleaned up this ad today.
Have this blown up and hanging in my garage, poster co did a real good job of cleaning it up, too.
