Had a guy contact me about restoring that boat 6 months or so back.
I’ve got 10 or so pictures of it.
It was in a yard near Pomona?
Whoever had it just wanted the engine out of it.
It was looked at by someone I trust and the glass and floor repair was more than what the buyer was willing to invest in the project before it came to me.
As far as the hull manufacturer…while I haven’t seen it in person, I believe it is either a Gaylord or an Unlimited Marine hull because of the wood dash.
It’s also short I think. Like 16’6”.
Would have been a cool boat to restore!

Yeah my buddy said they only bought it for the motor. I saw the ripples in the glass and thought it would need a lot of work.

Pretty sure it’s a Gaylord.
The wood insert dash and I have seen that exact seat pattern in some of his other boats.
Also note the way the gunnels fade into the transom.

It’s an Oldsmobile. Extended bell housing is a giveaway.
Probably a 394 Rocket 88.
Had some cool vintage parts on it.

Bottom 2 pictures are of an Olds I built for a 1963 Stevens.
Stout motors for their day in the late 50’s, early 60’s.
