Waaaaaaay off subject, but who do you use for your scaffolding? I use to do that for a wile before I left the Valley.
I do my own.

That ALREADY looks a ton better!! (Wasn't a big fan of the checkers on a Schiada). But these guys are sure getting after it!
If you know, what product did they use as a filler to smooth out the surfaces of your stringers? It looks like a skim coat whatever it is.
Thank you in advance!

I asked what it was but forgot the name now. Lol but it's a bondo that has fiberglass chopped up in it. It works like a putty or a filler they can sand.
Colors look great. Pins look a little thick and maybe the wrong color to me.
I know that not the design just giving input[emoji41]
Ya I told him half that size in the pin. It's supposed to look like this boat. View attachment 412886 I just don't like the red pin here so I went black and I just wanted to see the blues and silver. I want metal flake in the silver.
What about a darker charcoal pin?
Black seems kind of harsh
I was thinking that but was afraid it would get lost next to the silver.
Trailer is completely along nicely.

My trailer was an old C channel and with the redoing of the boat I wanted its trailer to be just as nice. Plus we all know a Schiadas need triple axels. Lol
I say do it if your on the fence about its gonna bug you all the time.
Nice! Consider some shiney diamond plate for the lower section of the rudder guard from rear most crossmember to the next crossmember forward. Fill in the open space. It'll do two things, one, reflect the triple lights that I assume are going into the second crossmember and better protect the prop and rudder from road debris.
I might be interested in your old trailer for my 20'. When you're done with it shoot me a number on it and some pics.y trailer has spent some considerable time in salt water and is a tube trailer.
Dave, have you considered a chromed bolt on skid pad with rollers? Your trailer is gonna be killer as is the new gel!

i love the way the wheels look with that spacing... bad ass. trailer is looking great! ss fenders id assume?
but id bet you'll lose two tires if you ever have a blow out when it takes the one next to it out.
I can't wait to see the gel when it's finished!
I'm going to tell people that's my old boat when its at foxes and they are going to think I'm a baller... until I drop that you have redone everything!!! Im digging the blue...
New stringers are glassed and balsa is started. I haven't been up there lately so they sent me the pics.
