Been looking for a little hot-rod for my father and I to tinker with and I stumbled across this project today.

Haven’t look through OSO or S&F yet

I read a few old threads and it sounded like some inmates had experience with the larger hulls but I’m curious about the smaller offerings like this one:

I wonder what happened to the outboard? Better check the transom REAL GOOD- if the motor fried, ok, so be it but if they hit somthing, and had to toss the motor, check for cracks etc. Nice looking boat- never understood putting a big exposed cleat on the nose of the deck/bow. Maybe Florida has more weather issues that require to be tied up using all 5 points. Anyway, looks like a fun project.

J. Ross tinkered with building these in the early 90’s. I don’t think the market for them was big at the time. Gonna be heavy and built very strong. If you pass on it let me know where it is. I may be interested. Here is a pic of it’s big brother.

Sounds like it hasn’t been ran for many many years. Has exchanged hands a few times as a project boat that’s never been completed. Stored outdoors between here and Florida. Motor was used to repower a different boat.
