Received today, Monday, 3/16/20 from The Blue Water Resort & Casino:
Per Colorado River Indian Tribal Council Declaration - all Special Events are to be cancelled. This includes any future booked Special Events indicated on our 2020 Events & Entertainment calendar. There will be no new Special Event's booked until we are informed the Declaration has been lifted.
We are taking every precaution in making sure our customers and staff are protected from the COVID 19 virus and limiting large and small closed gatherings.
So.......Spring Classic on April 18 & 19 is now cancelled until further notice. I have asked that once the ban is lifted (whenever that may be) that we see if we can reschedule to salvage our 2020 racing season. As usual, I will keep everyone posted as to any developments.
On behalf of SCSC board of directors, we hope all race teams, families and our fans stay safe and Covid 19 free during this crazy time.
