Here's the deal, my sea strainer cover/sight/window or what have you is cracked and cracking more and more. I searched for a replacement and found some for $75-$100 range(F-That). I believe my strainer is a Rex Marine but they didn't make a replacement cover.
I got a piece of poly for $15 and a ball end mill for $20. I set it up on the mill, took measurements and started cutting. Felling pretty good about my first real(well real for me anyways) mill project. Here is the end result!

Why is the outside edge radiused? Curious how you did it as well?

The strainer has a radius in it. It would be a bitch to do a radius on the mill with the hold downs and all. Took a low tech approach and use a Porter-Cable router. Test cut on wood to set the depth. Two minutes tops for the cut.
