First I thought it was zero then I thought it was 10 then I typed the equation into my Android phone and it came up with negative 80.

Proving once again I'm dumber than a smartphone.

Pemdas

multiply divide add subtract.
So 10x10 is 100. 100plus 10 is 110.
10-110 is -100.

Hell if I know but I’ll throw my hat into the ring.

edit I screwed up adding and subtracting left to Right.

idiot!

PEMDAS The order of operations is a rule that tells the correct sequence of steps for evaluating a math expression. We can remember the order using PEMDAS: Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication and Division (from left to right), Addition and Subtraction (from left to right). So -80 should be correct as noted above.

-80.

Multiply and divide as well as add and substantial do not have order over the other besides the order in which it is written

Parenthesis, exponents, multiply and Divide (whichever is first in line), add and Subtract (whichever is first in line).

Learn something new every day. I thought PEMDAS was strict. Didnt know that they mult/divide and add/sub were in written order.

My code has excessive numbers of parenthesis in it to explicitly show what I am trying to do. Leaves nothing to the imagination of the new kiddos trying to debug/modify it.

I have -80 as well.

10X10=100
10-100=-90
-90+10= -80

the only thing i remember from high school math class was the chick that sat 2 desk up and to the right had massive tits and a great ass.
I was in a pretty sharp class, AP Intro to something...we only had one girl that was a good, solid, California 9. Pretty damn hot...but she was way too "nice". She helped me with my class work a time or two, but I could never get her to help me with my "homework" 😏

Were we in the same class ? 😂
I had mine trained to pick up my pencil when I seemed to frequently accidently sorta knock it off my desk. 🤯
I should sued her parents for the creation of such a marvelous distraction 😍 which ultimately adversely affected the rest of my life and income producing ability 🤪
