I thought my Hondo was leaking so I filled it with water and found it was at the shaft log. The screws that hold it in are tapped into the floor and I found 3 that were stripped out. Any suggestions on how to repair?

Drill thru the same holes and out the bottom, countersink the bottom holes and use flat heads with an washers ans ny-loc nuts .

I use Marine-Tex to bed it down and seal all the holes . Oil, gas, vibration won't loosen it either .

Guess I will have to pull the motor as part of the log is under it and to clean it up right probably best. My cherry picker does not work due to the fact I can't get it under the trailer far enough.....fun fun! I would love to avoid drilling that many holes through the bottom though....
