Apparently this boat did 104 first time out. Once dialed in should get to 110! and there is another 26 cat coming around the corner with twin 450s. Pretty sweet.

neither gotta sell mine firstWhich one is yours??
I was thinking that but someone on fb said they are modern style? I dunno, I personally love the timeless hallett graphics even though I guess you could call those old. That's awesome... But those graphics, the boat already looks old....

Reminds me of the movie Tron
meh its ok. Im not a huge fan of the design but i love the colors. I think the grey is really awesome. my next boat will be base grey. This new gel design seems like something i have sen on roll bar boats. Nonetheless the 26 cat is the best looking boat shockwave builds imonice boat for sure. Too bad some need to express their negative opinions about the gelcoat design. I'm sure the owner loves it

Just under $200k according to the IG postPrice?
like the colors missed the mark for design for me. But... it’s not mine
Nice to see something new
This is what I wanted to build before finding my 2016 earlier this year. Glad someone built one. I talked to them a couple times wanting to build one with the 300R’s but never got close enough to terms to sit and come to a solid price. My biased opinion, this 26’ cat has the largest cabin and mid cuddy. Granted, Eliminator and others now have the extended cabin area for the O/B boats but Shockwave has that space with an I/B.
For a heavy boat that rides like a Cadillac, those are some great performance numbers! Good job!
Not sure if they made any major changes to this boat, but the next one with 450’s was vacuum bagged. From what I was told, they took 400-500 pounds out of it. Also changed up the interior layout and did a bunch of other changes.I am sure they made this lighter than there traditional layups?
And btw, why is it that almost nobody does graphics anymore that flow WITH the lines of the hull instead of through them?

I bet this guy isn’t so happy about it, lol.glad to see these getting built and those are solid numbers for a deck and 800hp.
as for the design of the gel, owner wanted what he got. Some might like it, some will not, but if the owner is happy WGAF what I think about his design!
they are definitely close but different. there is a 28 deck with similar scheme that was in the boat show last year red and grey i believe.I bet this guy isn’t so happy about it, lol.

I will say I’m glad to see Bob and the crew building their cat, and the outboard program seems to agree with the hull.
Nice job, Shockwave

my design has been copied numerous times.
Saw John and Heather out at Pirates a couple weekends ago. The boat is impressive to say the least. The amount of space inside is INSANE. You can literally set up 2 pack and plays in between the back seat and front seats. So much room.

How fast is the 26' Cat with Twin 300's? I don't need a 110 mph Patio.
Or “de-tune” it.Just run one engine at a time

I am thinking of building a 26 CAT with a single 450
Should be able to run in the mid 90's I would think. Perfect speed IMO.
A shockwave cat running mid 90's with single 450? I don't see it.
255 Speedster ran 90's with single 400r. I know the Shockwave is a heavier boat, but propped right it should be close.
No way twin 400’s did 104.A shockwave cat running mid 90's with single 450? I don't see it.
I'd probably go twin 300's over the single 450. Better out of the hole I'd imagine and cost difference would likely be similar.I am thinking of building a 26 CAT with a single 450

Speedster is a way more efficient bottom.255 Speedster ran 90's with single 400r. I know the Shockwave is a heavier boat, but propped right it should be close.
The 25 speedster was a carbon layup closed bow also running a cleaver. Judging by your family size you will probably order a open bow and with little kids I doubt you will be running a cleaver. I would say a single 450 26 shockwave with a max 5 wouldn’t break 80 in the summer.255 Speedster ran 90's with single 400r. My thoughts exactly, I doubt getting out of the hole is better with two motors hanging off the back though. Twin 300s will be faster, have better docking abilities and be about the same price.I'd probably go twin 300's over the single 450. Better out of the hole I'd imagine and cost difference would likely be similar.
What does your 22' run with the 400? It's gotta move pretty damn goodI am thinking of building a 26 CAT with a single 450
