If using 6.00 rod will the engine still stay under 314 cid?Might I suggest using a longer than stock length rod if you have to buy pistons anyway. I think I have some 5.7" GM rods that I can give you, they would need to be resized and probably new bolts depending on how hard you plan to run the engine.
I also have some heads that were rebuilt and never run, believe the valves are all new, need to get them out and see since I haven't looked at them in awhile.
Rod length has nothing to do with cubic inches, bore and stroke define that. Rod length does make a difference in rod angle, ring seal and cylinder wall life.If using 6.00 rod will the engine still stay under 314 cid?
