IMO, allow it at the federal level and tax it (if needed). While I don’t support the continual tax, it’s the only way it makes sense.

Yup and pay down the national debt or god forbid use it on our crumbling infrastructure. In 2019, revenue from alcohol tax amounted to 9.99 billion U.S. dollars.
