So I pulled this out of the lake today...

I was headed down the lake about a mile south of Thompson Bay when I spotted this floating in the middle of the lake.
.
Looked like it could do some damage so I threw a rope around to drag it over to shore. I first thought it was about 4 or 5 feet long.

When I finally got it to shore it was a whole damn tree. Fortunately there was somebody on shore who helped me get it out of the water as best we could.

That's great, I do the same thing with logs and plastic bags.

I've been boating on this lake for 25 years. I've never seen anything like that. I know it's common other places but not here.

Thanks for pulling that out. I swear I ran over a floating log and the next time out I lost the lower on my outboard.
