From Big Bend to Park Moabi, which route would you take??
Thanks!
Thanks!
Driving what? Distance and time says over the dam and through LHC. If you want offroad fun, I'd go on the highline road towards the Landing. You would pass the road into Black Meadows and Havasu Palms on your right). You stay left.
this one
straight out the 10Big Bend National Park (U.S. National Park Service)
There is a place in Far West Texas where night skies are dark as coal and rivers carve temple-like canyons in ancient limestone. Here, at the end of the road, hundreds of bird species take refuge in a solitary mountain range surrounded by weather-beaten desert. Tenacious cactus bloom in sublime...www.nps.gov
You will save about 20 mins crossing the dam and going through havasu vs. Vidal junction to needles
I'd go Vidal to Needles because I've never been that way.

The only way to get a Parkabilly outta Parker is med evac 'em out. Or the yearly sale at the Bullhead Piglly Wiggly.

I hear that. I personally would rather go the long way anyday to avoid stop n go bsThe traffic going through Havasu won't make that big of a difference? It's freaking terrible out there these days (and yes, I was there 2 weeks ago).
Thanks.
From where I am, I go through Vidal. Not sure how much time it takes to get back to the bridge from Big Bend, but suspect it may be worth considering. It's a fairly barren road up to Needles. From Big Bend to Park Moabi, which route would you take??

That would depend on the time of day. If any night travel is required I'd take the Havasu route.
Don't forget the Dam closed at 11 pm.
