With all the evidence piling up against Biden, it’s only a matter of hours before the Covid catches fire again!!
Oh it already is.
But they have a serious problem in that deaths aren’t going up.
So now more than ever simply testing positive has become the metric.
If you recall, our own libiots on this site were asking who takes over if Trump and Pence both tested positive...as if a positive test is the equivalent of death or disqualification.
This is the mindset we see pushing forward now.
For instance, Alaska has triple digit positives every day for nearly 4 weeks now. A spike by any measure and not surprising as it is getting winter and people tend to stay inside.
BUT...as high as the positive cases have been all along and despite the last 4 week spike in positive tests, only 63 people have died total out of 11,710 cases. And only one death in this record spike of positives.
That’s 0.005%

My point is that the mantra being trumpeted is positive cases....who cares?
We know enough now to protect those at higher risk of morbidity.
This whole idea of hiding from it is insane at this point.
The entire fucking WH had it. Guess what? Trumps still president and pence is still VP and Kayleigh is still doing her job.

This shit has gone off the deep end for real.

And Sleepy Joe has been seen lately wearing TWO masks.

He’ll need more than a mask to save his ass from jail.

Yes, I saw it Friday on TV.
He’s got an undergarment to match his outer garment.

Fucking ear straps everywhere.
So if the argument for wearing masks is that the wearer is supposed to do it to protect everybody else, does that mean for some reason Pedo Joe is doubly concerned about infecting those around him?

Or does it mean the left will acknowledge that wearing a mask protects the wearer and consequently it should be people’s choice on if they want to wear one or not?

He’ll likely die if he get it. He’s no Trump!!! Who just happens to be inoculated

Biden is an esteemed and experienced statesman, and politician, we'd all be lucky to have him lead us into the future.

I think they told him, Joe, if you can't keep your fucking hands off the mask we're going to make you wear two.

He has a hand problem you know.
Ya know.... It might be a used mask that they gathered from some little girls just to satisfy is sniffing needs and still keep him away from said little girls.

Well, one might be able to make the argument that masks protect others moreso than the wearer, except for one glaring fact.
Look around at peoples so called breathing apparatus. Note the ones with exhaust valves. These “masks” be it an APR, particulate filter mask etc do not filtrate exhaled air. It’s a direct shot out the exhaust valve...setting aside the fact that particulate masks do NOT provide any real seal.
Now, let’s let’s look at regular surgical type masks with no exhaust valve.
These also have no real seal.
But, when inhaling one creates negative pressure within the mask seal area, a vacuum as it were. This CAN help with a perimeter seal...at least to the point of fabric restriction at which point the seal will “give way” for more air flow...or the person will be out of breath.
The exact opposite is true when exhaling. The wearer creates positive pressure within the perimeter seal causing blow by past the seal.
This is shit you learn on day one of Hazwopper breathing apparatus school, or clearing ones mask during scuba training.

That’s how I see it. It’s kind of like patching a tire from the outside. The air will blow out around the sides of the patch because it can lift off the tire. If the air were moving the other way, the patch wouldn’t be able to lift off and it would seal.

It’s exactly why I’m baffled these people who claim wearing a mask protects others don’t understand the physics of it and how that’s going to go. Any real filtering of air will take place on the inhalation, not the exhalation.

Foil hat time: What if the two masks are to hide his mouth movements, or lack of them? What if he answered questions clearly and concisely with the masks on?

All he is and will be is a puppet anyway. Manchurian candidate, just to get elected and then fade away.

It isn’t just the “way we see it”, it’s actually how it works.
I had full face and half face APRs for years.
I took real good care of them because my life depended on them. Had my valves apart and put new rubbers in them countless times.
Was carded for administering seal tests.
Cant even tell you how many hours of classroom just on cartridges and combos.
That doesn’t even count the decon and disposal end of things. I had a separate wallet just to carry all the hazmat cards.
(We all did)

So when I see or hear people pretend to lecture me on masks it’s hard to not just laugh out loud.
They just don’t know, they generally have no training beyond Anderson Cooper and Joe Biden.

The masks have never been about health or preventing virus spread. The have been, are and will always be about selling fear. It's clear to anyone with even a marginally functioning brain the masks don't work. If they did the virus would have been wiped out months ago.

Which is my other observation...when did positive tests turn into failure and doom?

I mean, what’s the end goal for mask wearers?

When the death rate wasn't matching expectations. The end goal for mask wearers I have no idea, but if they're going to die because I'm not wearing one I really wish they'd get on with it. The end goal for the mask mandators is fear and control. The more fear they can sell the more control they gain.

Sounds like you’ve had a ton of mask training. The extent of mine was just gas deployment training when I was with the Sheriff’s department.

You look at it from the highly trained perspective and I look at it from my reasonably well educated physics perspective. We both reach the same conclusion...and laugh at the maskers who think they’re saving a life.

What’s the end goal for mask wearers? Lung infections and respiratory problems, maybe? Wife is a school principal and has to wear a mask all day long now that some of the kids are back. She coughs now and often sounds hoarse after a week of work. It’s just not healthy.

Until a vaccine is available, people have to realize that it is probably not a question of if you get the virus, but when you get the virus. They also need to realize that it’s not an automatic death sentence if you do get it.

People need to be free to make the choice to protect themselves or not. If one has existing health problems, then they should do what they’ve got to do in order to remain safe. Let the rest of us get back to it.

I think that’s one of the fundamental differences between R and D and why the virus has turned into such a partisan issue. R is for personal responsibility and choice while D is about control and telling people how to live.

The long term mask wearing is terrible for any persons health. The bacteria in peoples mouths because of it is causing other health problems.

My wife's ER is seeing all sorts that they are linking to 8 months of constant mask wearing. Many wearing dirty nasty masks over and over. Masks that were meant to be worn once and tossed. Or their homemade pillow case mask stitched from every Chinese synthetic fiber out there. That shit wasn't ever meant to be breathed through.

I was a civilian DoD employee that was part of an environmental engineer squadron.
I primarily was a drill rig operator that did plume and leeching investigation at sites all around the pacific theater. Mostly WWII fuel and forward base sites. Real bad shit.
We were about 150 man strong at the high point. We had equipment operators, Hydrologists, our drill team, DOT hazardous material and hazardous waste specialists, and all of us operators were also cross trained for level A confined space entry and investigation, demolition, as well as first response emergency spill team such as tanker wrecks and stuff like that. Most of what we did was at top secret sites and we all had secret clearance and shit.
Any one of us could (and did all the time) get sent to somewhere out of the clear blue sky for site assessment and hazard Id.
We had “go” bags and passports at all times. I still to this day carry my passport everywhere I go out of town.
Im no expert, I’ve just had a lot of training and been to a lot of real bad places and seen some real bad enviro destruction.
This entire mask deal is ridiculous for many reasons, but the most glaring is failure of the masses to have the slightest clue about just what it is they are doing. They are rebreathing particulate waste (germs basically) all day long.
Every hazard that requires a breathing apparatus of any kind has time weighted exposure values depending on hazard and apparatus. You can’t do that all day long every day and not get sick, and I mean chronically sick as suggested in the post above.
