So tell John Milner I'm gonna be looking for him. :)
Anyone else feeling like an outlaw?? My first time driving this will be at the Outlaw Nationals over Thanksgiving. I'm almost kinda intimidated .... almost

Sweet!!

I always like looking at what is in the background as well. That reel of stainless braiding is just one of the cool things I noticed. Jebus that thing is a monster.

@Dana757 , can you enlighten me? The blower head itself looks to have a pair of nozzles near the rear bearing support. Are these to help the mixture with a larger blower head, or to cool the rear portion of the rotors due to them not being beneath the hat?
Most of what I've been around is old school stuff...4/71's, 6/71's and such, and mostly carbed.

yes to cool the end of the blower. The port nozzles are to fine tune fuel mixture. This is kinda new territory for me too.

every time I'm over in modesto, or near there I wanted to stop into Grose' shop........ I figure I'm too poor to even walk into the place, let alone start asking engine build questions.

Well there is Joey's shop and his father Ron's shop. Joey's is a tad more modest I suspect. I don't think Ron's is even open to the public. Joey has everything he needs right there. It's just not a flashy, hey look at me kinda place. He builds all kinds of engines and does machine work for many engine builders in the area. He's been great to work with and I'm sure works with people on all different budgets. His prices were in line with the last shop I used. One thing I've learned is cheep engine builders get expensive real fast .....

Paradise Road!

Here is Paradise Road currently. Bob Falfa's tire tracks still remain today. :D

It is actually Frates Road in Petaluma, CA about 6 years ago). It is all vineyards the last time I drove by about 8 months ago. The 3rd Pic is the power sub-station you can see when Milner turns around after the accident.

Frates Road in 2013. If you zoom in you can see a No Trespassing sign. Property owner probably got sick of AG fans stopping and walking around. Someday I'm going to make a trip over there in my '34 and take some photos. Maybe I can get someone with a '55 to line up next to me. 👍

What changes do you have to make to the boat do to the added hp? It was ridiculous before

just a gear change for now. It already has tons of plate travel, solid driveline and yada yada. I’m sure we’ll have to tweak on things along the way.
