Ahh. Good to know what I was told before was off. That's WAY less than what I was told (like $120 for Car and driver).

I wonder what the entry fee is up to for the Roadster show now. I heard it was pretty expensive a few years ago. I'd love to take my Grandpa's '26 T there again sometime.

Just to add to this Roadster and driver are free but if it is a father son/daughter we do not charge the passenger. For 2 years we had somebody manage the show and they jacked the prices including charging the roadsters. That will neve happen as long as LAR runs the show.

That's really great to hear! I went with my Grandpa a couple times when I was MUCH younger. It was the first time he introduced me to a couple of his old friends I had never met before, and I was blown away he knew Alex Xydias and Sam Foose. Lol! I'd love to take 1 or 2 of my girls one day. Or definitely have to do something with the car on its 100th birthday.

why is it that when people post up classic hot rod car show on there flyers and facebook and i drive 1 hr to another town i gotta look at 1/2 the cars are new vets camaros and challengers and some new foreign pc of crap ......those are not classic hot rods.....damn its like jet boats and outboards and offshore boats showing up at a v drive regatta LOL they should turn them away

I usually look here. Seems to be fairly accurate and up to date but have went to a couple cruise nights listed that didn't happen. This was during covid so could have been due to that.

San Clemente had a nice one yesterday. I saw some real high quality American muscle. They also had a good variety of other stuff. A nice row of VWs, some surf woodies, an old truck section, some military hardware etc. good variety.

I go to 10-20 car shows a year and next Saturday in Chino is my favorite car show of the year. Amazing Million dollar classics and historical airplanes together. I f you are in southern California I highly recommend it. Last year it was $15 at the door (Admission to Yanks) and it was great.

While not in SoCal there's a car show (The Gathering) scheduled for this weekend in Havasu at Sara Park. Anybody know anything about it? Looks to be a monthly event until May.

I hit up RD about having an RD sponsored Christmas like “toys for tots” car show the first weekend in December. Like on a Saturday and your entry fee is one unwrapped toy of let’s say a minimum value of 15 or $20

get some businesses to donate some product or item and have an auction also pick a charity in Havasu. I could probably work out driving the Lamborghini down and might even get a few more people with exotic cars in Las Vegas to drive down to let’s play it by ear.
