We will be there April 23-26 if it’s still open. I’ve been indoors since March 25 when I got furloughed. Needless to say I might die of Cabin Fever before Covid-19, lol. Was planning on going to Havasu even though Desert Storm was cancelled but between my RV Park shutting down and the Mayors request for outsiders to stay away until this is over I figured Glamis is my last best resort .

It rained quite a bit fri night but no flooding in 4 and sat was wet dunes but the less traffic it was still nice duning.Only downside i had a wheel bearing going out limped it back from ledge sat night.

Drove by today a little after 1pm,dunes were getting a nice reset from the strong winds. Still could see wet sand but if the sun stays out it should get better soon. Share pictures when you make it out.

Yes..... does matter. Strong winds out there sucks no matter what your riding/driving. Not a fan.

It was going pretty strong but I don’t know for how long. I am guessing 25-30 judging by sand blowing across the 78. I stopped at vendors area For a pit stop. The groups I seen out there yesterday were hiding inside their trailers/motor homes.
