I was looking for a ball mount like that a few weeks ago, but decided to go with a Curt 4" drop heavy duty. However, I am curious. Do you mind me asking what the issue was that fueled the buy back? They bought my 2004 Duramax back in '05. A/C problems they couldn't fix.

The buyback was not initiated by me. I didn’t get an attorney, I didn’t threaten or complain incessantly.
I took the truck to the dealership for a turbo issue. After issues with the front differential, fuel system, DEF system I guess they figured it was time to buy it back.

That truck(2015 Z71 2500) was non-stop issues and downtime.

I didn't either. They were really good about it. Sorry to hear about all the issues, but glad you got that problem solved.
