but you’re right! Great cars, I regret not buying one when I had the chance. I wish they kept Holden around. I bought an 04 GTO new in 04. Such a fun car for a 21 year old

430hp ls3 and a 6 speed tranny....They run good

Great chassis. Basically a better looking camaro with 4 doors and a nicer interior.

Values have held strong. The manual 6 speed cars are worth more today then what you could buy them for new. At one point chevy was selling these for 20% off sticker.

I prefer the exterior of the G8 but these are way nicer inside and have more tech.

Veeeeery comparable to the E39 M5, considered by many to be the last truly great M5 that before cost-cutting gave them disposable engines/trans and junk construction.

#122 of 130 built with same options.

There were only 4 options when buying this car,

Spare tire or not. If not it came with a can of fix a flat.

Yeah I think they were only like 12,000 sold between 2014 and 2017 they discontinued in 17.
We had a Pontiac G8 and really liked that car. The ss is basically the continuation of the g8s. The wife really wanted one in orange but there were none to be found in good condition when we were looking. Sporty little cars for a sedan.

Just to add what some others have alluded to, this car is a unicorn and an absolute 'have your cake and eat it too" kind of cars. Will run with or beat the M5 referenced to but be way more reliable. V8 sound, check (LS3), bi-mode exhaust, check, mag ride, check, full size spare, check, Nav, check... and on and on and on and on. Car is an absolute pleasure. Great steering, superb handling, comfortable, seats 4 plus easily, full size trunk.....

Can't really go wrong with this car.
