No boats I would EVER be interested in 🤪
I used to think that, but then they had pontoons. Not the rocket ship "RDP Editions", but definite booze cruisers...
I wouldn't mind adding a 90-125hp 20ft toon to the lineup!
No matter how badass the bassboat, I still can't fish for shit...but I can eat a sammich and drink a soda!

Your right. Last time we I was there it was packed with pontoons and runabouts. People see the $200-$400 monthly payments but the fine print on the bottom is that’s with ten percent down

I'm looking for a 17' Bass Tracker. They're perfect for crappie fishing. There are very few for sale, and the prices are just stupid.

My grandson got wind of the search, and now I get at least one text message a day. "Did you find one yet?"

That kid is already a good fisherman. He's 13, in the next three years I'm gonna teach him to tow the boat, launch and retrieve it, and how to drive it. By the time he gets a driver's license, he'll be too busy fishing to get in trouble.

😁

While perusing Craigslist I came across a 1986 24' Baja Force for sale. These are basic deep vee hull boats, and this one is described as being in "great" condition, powered by a 454 with only 144 hours.

You would think that selling one's boat would generate at least a wash and wax, right? That the "amazing" low time engine would look well maintained?

Well, no. 🤪

i got hooked on crappie fishing as a kid fishing clear lake and Berryessa, if you find the hang out you can rip lip till your tired of reeling and take you pick on the keepers. got my kids going on cat fishing they love it. last camping trip they both were slinging jigs for crappie 🤞

Yeah I can't fish for squat either, I just enjoyed driving the boat at high speeds.

I had a fx20 skeeter that was a driver's boat. I thought I understood how to really set a boat on the pad until I drove the skeeter. Boat taught me a lot about how much I really didn't know about lightweight high speed whacker boats
