Jawbone canyon and Dove Springs open as of today

It’s starting to get warmer, but you might be able to squeeze in another trip or two.

I can well recall passing Jawbone Canyon RD on the way to Lone Pine back in the 60s. To even think about that area, and so many similar others, ever being closed due to a pandemic, remains very hard to conceive, let alone believe. But, we just saw it happen.
