That’s my buddy, Juan Hung Lo. Fastest flat bottom in Thailand. Would like to get him over here once racing pics up again. Top Alcohol Flat to be clear. Tony S won’t like to be handed his ass by his cousin[emoji23]

Not just that the boats are fast, but the "body english" needed to pilot and turn one without tossing themselves off. Looks like fun though. I think it would be cool to have a little 2stroke one for river cruising.

imagine the attention one would get puling up to foxes in one of those....lol
They look and sound pretty bad ass. Seems they have prop slip pretty well sorted.
The hull construction appears to be pretty solid/strong for what they are.
Imagine how they would flip out over a super stock or k-boat.
safety equuipment????? we don't need no stinkin safety equipment.

Yes!
I love this stuff...no computerized BS engineering, just shade tree mechanics adding more boost and bigger props. Couple shots of whiskey and crack the throttle. lifejackets are for pussies......thats it, I'm moving to Thailand.

On some of the videos I've seen, it looked like the prop shaft was essentially a pipe with a flange welded for the crank, and and a taper for the prop. A couple had an outer housing, maybe a couple bearings? Primitive, but functional.

Rode in those long boats several times while visiting our Hot Wheels factory outside of Bangkok. Funniest part was going down one specific canal and some old lady in a clap trap boat would meet us to sell beer. Opens the cooler and there’s ice cold Coors Light. Don’t see CL much in Asia. Cracked me up every time.
