We stayed at pirates last weekend! Had a blast!!

I am happy to report the food has greatly improved since the last time I hate here a few years ago. I was really impressed! Place is ungodly expensive but worth it.. great place for the family for a weekend.

Dinner the night we got there and breakfast the next morning.

Pretty bad ass eliminator v drive at foxs.. For those in the know the keel was modified and the round keel removed and a delta pad was put in, so she’s a runner!

apparently the under glow isn’t a thing amongst the old timers in the campgrounds.. lol They all kept walking by and looking at it to try and see what it is... well at least until 9-10 o’clock when the whole place went whisper quiet.

Awesome Pics!! Friday @white tortilla and I launched our boats up there around 8:30am and had breakfast at Foxes at 9am. Water started to get busy around noon when we pulled off.

What was interesting was at about 10:30am we were up floating by the dam and there was a sheriff boat driving by fairly close to the shore line. There was a 2nd sheriff standing in the back of the boat with a GoPro facing the shore line and it looked like he was recording the shore line, and I could only think at the time he was documenting where the docked boats were?

Not sure if it has anything to do with the accident last year where the guy hit the tuber and fled the scene, but it was something new I haven’t noticed before. Maybe @BoatCop or someone else would know more. It could have just been a rookie sheriff with a personal go pro for all I know but it didn’t seem like it.

That is bizarre.

I will say the wakeboard boats have completely destroyed Parker.. that water is CRAZY ROUGH nowadays.. didn’t bother the toon much.. but the idea of running a 21’ anything down there anymore is a lost concept anymore.

Seen a few people rip off props trying to get to that spot when river is a little higher, they see boats there and say cool, let me pull up, next thing they here is the distinguished sounds of a prop hitting rocks.

Well do our best to get in there this weekend but that pic is about the limit of low I can float in on.

1030 am Saturday morning, we spent the night at the blue water to take the boat home. Marina is still closed, but the casino is now open 24 hrs again. Crazy to see it dead

Well, all of parker is closed 😁 has been for years. But the marina, and their beaches have been closed since last year for covid 🙄

Welp, that surely makes a ton of sense. Packed casino but no outdoor areas open.

I agree with you 100%. At the end of last season I took my wife down onto The Parker strip for the first time on the water she's been there many times over the years when I was water ski racing. And again I couldn't agree with you more the wake surfing and wakeboarding boats rollers that they put out or just absolutely ridiculous we hit a couple in my 24 ft ultra and it scared to living hell out of my wife and she said she'll never go back to Parker again because of that and the jackass that came by the roadrunner. I took her there to get her some swag and a road Raper to go some ass clown in a wake surfing boat came by the dock real close nobody's surfing full ballast and bounced my boat against the dock and up on the dock gouged the bottom of my boat, needless to say the asshole driving it got a full unopened water bottle thrown at him and I tagged him in the back of course he stopped and flipped me off so I gestured for his ass to come back and get up on the dock. Its definitely rough sledding these days out there. I wont even attempt dropping the boat in on weekends during the summer season anymore. Hop skip and a jump to the springs has been our go to boating ramp for a while now.

I didn’t end up pulling it with the Moho.. Sunday fun day got too late for experiments so we jist drove home and I dropped it off at Griner’s (Detail specialties)

We don't touch the place in the summer past 10 years. Wetsuits and Whiskey and wake boats don't take any days off. Skiing is becoming harder to do.
