This past Monday was kinda like that but holidays are always slow at the Sag. That's what I like about it on big weekends. I spoke to some wakers and from what I gather, all the young ballers are hurting from the economy being what it is. 65k for a wake boat hit home real quick. All them kids just cant afford the gas to bring all the hunnies back there.

The water gets better as the days grow cooler. Wait till late October. The water is colder but the water is smoother all day long. I guess its only the hard core that venture out when it gets cooler.

Hey if your game, Bartlett, October 3rd n 4th is when Classic DayCruiser gets the East n West siders to come out and do a Classic Boat Get Together. Your invited. There Usually are some bad ass boats that show up. If your free that weekend come on out. Its a good time on the Bart. The Weekend after is the Yuma Power tour Just up from Fishers on the lower Colorado.

Call us hard core then....love the off season.....I can do sag in my wetsuit no problem through the winter.......it's another story at the river though....we need the drysuit for that freezing ass water comming out of the dam.

Bartlett is out there, but has been worth the drive almost everytime.

Be sure you have a tonto pass before you get there, they do sell them @ random gas stations thru cave creek if needed.

If you want extra ballast (not much, as i've got the same track team physique you do:rotflmao let me know when and where.

Bart is a fun time lake. Park where you launch on the beach. Overnights are the bombata when we all get together there.

I get a annual Tonto pass. It pays for itself by February. The ranger station at the top of the hill at Bartlett sell the pass too. But it is better to pick one up early. 1 less thing to forget.

I see a few hard core wakeboaters out there. Most of the time there floating. Then I come flying by and mess up the water.

Just need to rejet and Im ready for tomorrow.

I was on Saguaro this morning. Put the boat on the trailer about 11:30. Could not be leave that there was still parking open. Lake traffic was light for what I expected on this kind of weekend. I was in a 18ft Baja Islander that had a yellow and purple stripes and black bimini if you were on Saguaro and may have saw us. :thumbsup

It wasn't my boat. It's a friends boat. We may be back up there next weekend.

We were amazed too at how much parking was open when we left about 12. Traffic on the water was real nice as well. We camped out near where the big rock that sticks up out of the water an the first bend to the left as your coming from the marina. We camped a bit just off Butcherjones beach after that then we went through the marina and out of the water. VERY nice day. What does your boat look like we were watchinf alot of folks boarding and tubing. :thumbsup

is he going to St. Anthony's ? it's a HUGE sand dune area like Glamis. I've seen pics but never been, looks like a fun place for off roading.

I gotta to get off the dinosaur I'm riding, my son got a new board and daddy really likes it :thumbsup I'm going to try the power loader, I took my broke cam and got a couple decent shooting blind pics.
