My son Parker turned 4 weeks old on Thursday and come Friday morning we were packed and waiting for Grandpa to come pick us up. He did great all the way out to the river and once we hit Parker Grandpa was adamant that we took a picture of Parker next to the welcome to Parker sign so that’s what we did. Once we got to Havasu and got settled in it was time to head over to the Eliminator Regatta registration party. While we were there we talked to Outlaw Boat Transport and my dad ended up meeting two other new Grandpas as of three months ago.

Saturday morning we headed to Pirates to give Parker his first dose of boats, we were about to get a nice table on the outside of the bar that wasn’t too loud for Parker (even though for some reason he loves loud music). While hanging out Eliminator had a girl come around with a jug of extra raffle tickets and handed one out to the whole table, after I got mine I asked if my son could get one for good luck and she said of corse and gave him one. While looking at his and my ticket I realized they were consecutive 555068 and 555069 I thought that was really weird as they were pulled randomly out of a full jar of raffle tickets. After food my girlfriend and Parker went back to the truck so Parker could be changed and fed and my dad and I went to check out the other couple of docks full of some nice Eliminators. Once baby was clean, full, and happy we went back down and found a nice shady spot next to the bar and hung out for a while. When the Orange Crush 36 Daytona rev’d it when he left and Parker loved it (one of the nicest if not the nicest ICCs there is). Once the rewards and raffle kicked off we went over to the stage and Parker’s ticket 555068 ended up being called for a two night stay in the cabins at Pirates, after collecting the prize I’m walking back to our group and I hear my ticket 555069 called. At the time I didn’t even know what I had just one as I was in shock that we were given two tickets randomly and they were somehow in consecutive order and then some how they were called in consecutive order, what are the odds lol. I ended winning two very nice Eliminator bumpers for Grandpa’s boat. After, we headed back to the Islander and Parker got to cruise around in Grandpa’s new golf cart and checkout some boats doing some passes and some other nice boats getting pulled out.

Sunday morning we headed home and Parker did great again, just needed one stop about half way home to be changed and make a bottle and we were back on the road. This is the most fun weekend Parker will never remember he had lol.

I would like to thank Jake and the whole Eliminator crew as well as everyone else that helped for putting on such an awesome event, even though our boat wasn’t finished in time we still had a great time!
