My Grandpa was Jerry Lembke one of the partners in Speed and Marine Associates. Their own lines were Continental Day cruisers, and later Silverwing boats.

A couple of members here have or have owned Continentals

Silverwing Tunnel. This is a true tunnel and probably one of the best handling boats I have ever seen.

Mike Mullins at Mirage has these molds and is building them here are the two latest. Dry hull weighs under 800 lbs. Speeds around 140 with 2.5 drags.

Sport C Tunnel a bunch of these went to Japan.

Bud Bailey was added to the fold when Spectra closed. He designed the Silverwing 27 and 34 that went on to become the Hallett 270 and 340.

Maxed out has this blue one for sale right now with twin 454's.

So cool! My family currently owns the blue and light grey Whaler photoed above. We are very proud of it! Enjoy raising our family with it. Lots of complements. Enjoy hearing stories of the Lempkes from racers that notice the boat.

That's awesome glad one of them found their way to a good home. These boats tend to stay in the family for awhile. Enjoy.

If I can scrape together a few million that I don't mind loosing...

Do you know if these Sport C's were raced in indoor arenas? I knew a guy that went over there to drive in those events back in the 80's.

All the boats were identical and it was set up like horse race betting but they bet on the drivers.

Cool family history for sure, I'd love to have one of the Silverwing Whalers.

Sorry, I can't help you. My shirts were given to me by one of the original family members who started Speed and Marine.

If you can wait till the Orange Streetfair, if there is one this year. They normally have a booth there.
Canceled already this year. I believe Shawn McConnell from speedway fame is Team Swollen and works the both.
