Hi All,
I bought 2 billet bearing carriers to replace the stock ones in my sportmaster lowers.
I had a problem with a flo-torq hub braking and the prop gummed up the end of the stock one all the way to the first seal.
Question is can I just pull the stock carriers. swap the bearings and add new seals to the billet carriers.
And then just put them in the drive?
Or does the propshaft and gears have to be re-shimmed?
Is there a torque spec on the ring nut holding the carrier in?
Thanks

Flying Lavey, There are no thrust washers on the 1.25" fat shaft sportmaster lowers. just the flo-torq solid hub.
