St Anthony’s here we come!

So this year we were planning a 24 day vacation up through Idaho and surrounding areas. Wanted to stop by the Lake Pend Oreille fun run and check it out. But now we are down just to 8 days and it will just be my son and I, but we are meeting friends at the dunes. We are just setting up at Idaho Dunes RV for the week. We are doing a two day ride to West Yellowstone and just spending the rest of the time at the dunes. Just taking the two RZR’s, but it’s like packing 10lbs of shit in a 5lb bag. Only have the 24’ trailer right now how I am looking for a 26’ aluminum stacker.
So we started packing this morning.
The trailer first.

Then now we are starting to pack the RV.

We are slated to leave early Tuesday morning. Plan on getting to Layton Utah the first day, then an easy 3 1/2 hr drive to St Anthony’s.

Quick trip to Costco for some supplies. We will do the rest of the shopping tomorrow night.

We have been a couple times, love it there.
It’s the Idaho Dunes Sand Showdown next weekend. It will be a good time, Mike at IDRV puts on a big deal.

That's trips on my list.... I'm jealous. Lol. I would love to see pictures and reviews of the park and so forth,I hear choke cherry hill Makes any hill in glamis look tiny. If your camping at west Yellowstone for those 2 days do yourself a favor and stay at Grizzly rv park. 1 mile from entrance and top notch park. Safe Travels

Didn’t quite get as early of a start as I would have liked. But ended up missing rush hour in Vegas. Got to St George and filled up and let my son take over driving for a while.

You heard correct.

Glamis may have much more square footage, but the dunes are embarrassingly small compared to most of SA.

I don't care what you bring, you can run in top gear, at WOT as long as you want.

And if you don't like the weather, just wait 5 min...

One ride we left in the sun, got hailed on for a bit, and then came back in the sun.

If you love the sand, it's a destination you don't wanna miss.

Ride to Island Park today. Little but on the dusty side. Also looks like we aren’t going to make it to West Yellowstone.

Found some mud on the way back from Island Park. Was a great 120 mile ride. Suggest to anyone going to IDRV to hook up with Mike for a ride to Wesr Yellowstone or Island Park.

Check out Elgin Lake while you're at it. We took knee boards and tied the rope to the back of the quads!

Been slacking on pictures. We did a river float the other day that I didn’t get any pictures. The RV park is pretty nice. Only thing there is a quiet time that starts at 10. But that keeps the riff raff out.
my son blew his turbo in his RZR so I am the only RZR in our group, kinda of sucks slowing the big cars down. I can have the RZR pinned and the cars and the still pull away. Hit 87.7 mph in the dunes. We are going to cut our trip short probably now and leave this afternoon.
