I’d like to know how you like the pot filler. That is the one thing that I wanted but had to cut out of the project. One day I will have it on a house just wondering if it is worth it.

Pot fillers are great. Be surprised how much you use it (if you cook). I will always have one from now on.

Fortunately or unfortunately (depending on how you look at it) having to do the repipe there was no real cost to add it.
We also added an RO system to have filtered water and ice from our fridge and the plumber added a dog water fill under the bar sink. So our spoiled dogs get to drink pricked water too.

So happy with the way it turned out.

Go all the way, imo. And I have done a ton of these. In our spec homes. If you make them get a little more precise on the mounting you wont get the "balloon" shadowing. Jmo

Our anniversary was a couple weeks ago so had the buffet my wife wanted made with some of the leftover quartz we had. Now the remodel is officially complete

Like every project I do. This one has snowballed. Lol.

Just when I thought the house was done. Wife decided the house needed to be painted. The people we night the house for. Used the wrong type of oaky. And it was fading really bad.

That led to painting the house and replacing all of the rotted trim.

While that project was underway our neighbor was getting some concrete and new grass done.

trying to park my dually and my wife’s car in the driveway was a tight fit so I white trashed it and would work my dually half in the grass and half in the driveway.

We got to talking to the guy doing the concrete work at my neighbors. About extending the driveway. That conversation turned into redoing the steps that lead to our gate and filling in some planters.

Needless to say the driveway extension turned into a much bigger project.

They started the steps this weekend and filling in the planters. The driveway work will start next weekend. And hopefully all done by mid January.

Hoping this is the end of construction for a while.

Figured I wound post a little update. This has been the never ending remodel. Like every other project in my life. Lol.

What’s tatted with the kitchen resulted in painting the house. Doing concrete work, and mew landscaping to come as well.

Was tired of being white trashy and parking on the grass so the original plans was to widen the driveway so we weren’t so trashy.

Then the wife started mentioning the 70s style steps. And how they didn’t match the house.

Then she wanted a lighter color on the house and since the existing greenish gray paint was fading we went with something lighter.

Old steps demos and mew ones being built.

They finished the steps today. Looks much better.

The driveway will be poured next week or the week after. (Waiting for Edison and Cox to move the boxes to flat type vaults). Widening it both ways. Got the neighbor to join in on the fun so we will have a nice clean area between our houses.

The other neighbor saw the work we are doing and is now upgrading their front lawn too.

Lay big decision we have to make is do we do sod again out front or do we just go turf and enjoy no maintenance??

Sherwin Williams revere pewter. It’s nice because it changes tones with light and isn’t too gray and dark. The “color” of the light into he room makes a big difference.

Nice...you got lucky. If you started the work, they usually wanna stick you with it. But there shits easy...prolly just fish new lines and trim back to fit in a new vault.

Haven’t updated much in this. But the front yard part of this is finally done.

We had some delays in relocating the utilities in the extended driveway part.

Same flooring we had. It’s called Swiss cottage or Swiss chalet.
