I've owned a home the last ten years in BHC, specifically the Palo Verde Meadows area. I contacted the BHC PD and asked for a ride along on a Friday Night in April. I went on about 15 calls with most all for domestic violence with a couple of public intoxications mixed in. Fortunately, no calls were made from my neighborhood. I'd recommend a ride along if you have a weekend night available.

We were out having dinner a couple of weeks ago and a guy at the next table asked. Hey what time does it start to cool down here? My answer "OCTOBER". He says, No I mean at night? My answer "OCTOBER". At first I think they thought I was just being a smart ass. Until the conversation got to the wind. The wife asked, does the wind blow often here? I told her it only blows twice a year. They looked confused, so I clarified it with 6 months from the North and 6 months from the South. They at least smiled at that. They were from Minnesota.
