I have been thinking a lot about this and looked at the total deaths numbers in the US. But time will tell what the impact of COVID has been on the total number of deaths in this country.

What is not clear is whether COVID deaths are in addition to deaths from other causes. Or were the COVID deaths simply deaths recategorized from other death categories?

Past data shows average deaths in the US from all causes is around 3 million annually.

So are we gonna have 3 million deaths in 2020? or 3 million plus 250,000?

Every day, JHU erroneously reports the positive rate in AZ by about double. They don't caveat the number and why its double from AZ actual reporting, they just report it and the national news then reports it too. The numbers area actually half.
