Yep. That’s the what I’m being told. Should be a good time. We will most likely be or around the Barrett booth. 👍

Looks like a cool setup. Too bad we will be rolling into town late.

It's on it's lift down in the Marina. We will be out on the water sometime on Friday so we will have to go check out the docks and see what's there.

There were a few big MTI’s in the channel last night. I can’t wait to see what shows up at the swap meet this evening.

You're still looking good. I just got invited to hitch a ride with a young buck Newport neighbor who got a hall pass last minute... he asked if I wanna make the weekend trip.... He's got a mobile home in Parker's Echo trailer park he wants to check in on... I said "You do know its Cat Fest madness in Havazoo right?" Not a clue....He's 38 with two newborns and will go anywhere for a two night escape so we leave at noon Fri. I haven't been on the river since 2005 so be fun to see all the cat muscle.

Trying to grasp how all of these big big boats are going to dock at the springs? There are a few spots to tie up a big boat on the end of the rows, beyond that the slips are narrow, short and full of nails.

Just coming on to pretty much ask the same thing! 😑 ..... I was gonna launch and take some pics, But know if I do! Some cat will be park'n in my slip when I come back!

Then I'd have to go to the office, have them grab the chains and locks, wait for the cat to pay the 50 bucks to get set free, then I can finally slip it in! :)

Hard to think these guys will be navigating the river mouth the pirates mouth.
Be like that stuck tanker!

Let the Eliminators and DCB's take the lead. They should know the line through there.

Edit: First time I have ever heard it called the "pirate's mouth".

When I was at Skater this week, Jorge, the trailer shop mgr. told me some interesting facts about that tilt the 438 is on. It’s tilts 87deg. The boat is 12-1 (or 12-2) don’t remember and the finished tow height is 13-1.
Skaters trailer technology is really amazing.

they had to cut the torsion tubes and drop the centers to allow a deck height to allow that. They are building another like that for a big Outerlimits. There is no kinds of ground clearance under it.

as careful as I had to be going in and out of truck stops coming home this week, these low, specialty tilts add yet another level of stress to Transport

If I am understanding this correctly, the boat is only roughly 1 foot of the ground when tilted? [emoji15].

Do you have to worry about highway debris damaging the boat nearest to the ground?

you understand 100% correctly. Not sure about that trailer but mine has a textured fiberglass decking anywhere it’s open to the ground.

I was looking at that trailer in the pics and saying “man, that trailer is on super tilt”.

it would be interesting if skater can do air bags on the trailer vs torsion. Then it can be aired up a few more inches of height when needed traversing steep pitches.

I was checking it out last night. It’s a trip to see it tilted so far. What was the reasoning to do it like that? Is there an advantage over the. Standard tilt (that look to me like they always have more weight on the port side). Also, being that low I guess it’s never going down a ramp? And how’s high R/R crossings. I’ve see lowboy simi trailers get stuck on rail roads. 😬😬😬
