that was a whole lotta blue sky out the window for sure, great save by the throttle man and driver too. Amazing nothing on the boat broke from that apparently. That's a picture to hang on the wall.

The driver didn’t turn the boat into the corner, maybe it wouldn’t turn because it wasn’t trimmed in but a mistake was made somewhere. The save was incredible and cool that it was captured so many ways.

If you watch the video real close, while the boat is tail walking you can suddenly see the water around the props change. I think the throttleman chopped the throttles hard and it kicked the bow back down.

Im sure they both had to change their shorts after that, could have gone swimming.

That's what they said in the interview at the end that he was able to trim it all the way down and throttle it hard so the nose came back down. Good thinking on his part. Most probably would have backed off the throttles completely and likely ended in a complete blow over. Gives truth to the old saying when in doubt throttle it out.

Good save, but should never been in the rooster tail in the first place. Boat will climb right up it. Done it.
