You guys seen this app/website? People are renting out their backyard pools for an hourly rate. In my area it's averaging $45-$70 an hour. In this super hot weather you might be able to make some coin. 🤔

So what are you?😁
You know what's funny is we would have these hot tub parties with 8+ people in it all the time...everyone sucking down drink after drink. After a while I noticed that I was the only one getting out to go to the bathroom. I thought maybe I had a weak bladder or something....and then the next morning I'd stumble out to the pool/hot tub to pick up clothes/towels/cans and stuff and you couldn't even see down deep enough to see the benches.🤮

You should get a load of the pool next door at the infamous BnB I’m always bitching about.
Oh it’s a beautiful lay out. Grotto, swim up bar, waterfall, etc.
I’ve done some simple math.
Avg. 4- 6 people per party (plus a hand full of kids as well) 3x a week. So let’s be extremely conservative and just say 18 different people (strangers) in the pool each week for 4 months straight now. That’s 288 different people, probably half or so of those are kids playing in there all day long, then the drunks in there until all hours....every single fucking day.

We call it the “Petri dish”...

This latest crowd are dragging out right now as I type.
So the cleaners will show up, drag a broom and mop around, change the sheets or wash them, and skim the pool and tune it up maybe.
I’ve never seen an actual pool truck there. I’m not saying it doesn’t get professional service, but I’ve never noticed it and I’ve been sitting here for 7 months now.
You could not possibly pay me enough money to get in that pool. Ever.

If the water is always clear, somebody is doing something right!

I guess. My old pool was 21’x42’ with a 9’ deep end. I calculated it at just under 40K gallons. It was chlorine and I know what it took to keep it dialed in, with no pool service. I had a big patio storage bin with all manner of chemicals, and an offset single garage that was my pool maintenance/ lawn care equipment building.
I’ve never had salt so I’m thinking it has to be easier if it is in fact a salt pool? Just guessing out loud really.

All I know is that a new crew will show up today and kids will all be playing and having a ton of fun totally oblivious to what went on in that pool the last 2 days...lol.
I just smile and wave

On a side note the owner has taken steps to quiet them down at a reasonable hour and it seems to be working so far so that’s good!
No boaters over there hardly at all this summer, just escapees from socal non stop, mostly with kids. Can’t blame them one bit for getting the hell out of prison for a few days.

Not at all, I partied like a rockstar and hammered like a porn star in my 20's, 30's and early 40's. 😩 😂
You can't quit now! We're counting on you! 🍾🥂🥃

Hopefully the parents say the same stuff that I tell my kids when we're in the channel....
Don't put your face underwater kids!
