SXS Fire Suppression System

I was trying to locate the thread about fire suppression systems for a SXS. Someone had posted up a system which was around 300-400 for the kit. I wanna say the thread was about buying a gift maybe?

Just be aware gaseous fire suppression systems work by concentration of the gas. They don't extinguish flames chemically, they remove oxygen from the protected area, preventing combustion.

Unless the engine on your SXS is effectively enclosed, a gaseous system may not work. I believe 11% of the enclosed area is the figure for concentration, and it has to remain for a certain amount of time. I don't recall the exact specs because it's been a while since I've worked on those systems.

The Zero 2000 foam systems are chemical extinguishments, they would work better.
