I just fugging don't get it! We basically had one steadfast rule , NO marks on the body! I've worked with so many guys that had tats all over, then grew up and spent the rest of their lives trying to hide them.;)

Since Vic put up his new ink, I guess I'll show my latest. I had a 40 year old sun-sign (think New Mexico) on my shoulder. It was faded, blotched out and looked like shit. So I had it covered up. One with a lot of meaning for me. Anyone figure them out?

I'm guessing your kids names, don't have a clue about the rest. Is that Andy's work? Looks good.:thumbsup

I have had my girls names for years but recently had a son who is named after my grandpa and needed to do something. Below is a pic of the first step, which was a 7 hour sit for the line work. Every single detail in the piece has a personal meaning to me...Still have a lot to do though.

Grand kids, actually. The shield/anchor in the center of the tri-corn is my USCG Senior Chief's insignia. The pirate/skull..... well... just because. :D

Yeah. Andy did it up right.

Started shading and some color on Monday. Probably a bad idea since I'm headed to the river today  IMG_0657.jpg gonna be a thousand dollar tat easily. Kind of makes me curious how much I've spent on my body art so far. Not even half way done

So everything I get is family based, these are on my left and right arm. I waited until I was set in my career before.

I know its not your first rodeo but keep that fresh ink out of the sun and river water. Instant infection right there. Keep it covered with ointment too. Start offering trade work for tattoos...that's what I did and then become friends with the artist. Worked for me. I haven't paid for ink in years but then again my best bud is an artist. I wouldn't look half the way I do if it wasn't for him!

Man, I have to be honest. I see some STUNNING women in these pictures who did nothing but detract from their beautiful bodies. Personally, I'd rather not have so many distractions. The only lines I'd wanna see on any of these women are the ones I'd leave behind with my saliva. 😁
