My boss has a ranch outside Boise and just got back from being there for 3 weeks. Their license plates have a code which shows what county they are from. They don't just look for out of state plates. They look for out of county plates to see who is coming into their county and buying their food and supplies. His place is in a small town. They started selling toilet paper 1 roll at a time so the city folk from Boise wouldn't drive the 90 miles for TP. lol

Bring a parka lol that area has some crazy temp swings, when it drops to 40 degrees in the afternoon it might as well be 0 degrees.

You'll see more flatbed Diesel PU's with straight pipes than priuses.

Seems temps will swing from low 50s to low 80s for the week.

Did a little look today on line. Tiny town itself. 2010 census at 265. 40 miles to Jackson Hole, WY. Will definitely head there. Try some fishing, hiking, kayaking.

Will try to remember to take some pics.

BTW we rented a mini Winnebago for the drive. A bit of overkill for 15 hours but the best value considering it will sit for 5 days.
