Had a Straub Technologies/Bostic Racing/Ron Beck built, AFR headed, 489 stoker beast dropped in my 21' Liberty last year.
Ron says it should do ninety. I dunno.

Dyno said 686 HP/ 648 ft.lbs @ 6000 RPM.
that was with an 850 cfm carb. Now has a QF 950 on it.

I know it does WAY more than seventy +.
Was waiting to get it to the river and GPS it while the air density is good and cold to find out for sure what she really does.
My Tundra is still in the paint shop or I'd have had the results sooner.
Comes out of paint shop tomorrow.

I’m a flat bottom guy at heart but I’ll drive anything given the chance. An outboard that will run in the 80’s for hours doesn’t suck and hydro that’s so quick you wonder what just happened is fun too. The friends I made racing will always be some of my favorite people.
